Bird Walk and Business Brunch
Join Ari Leach and Jeanne Christie, board members of MWGO, for our first ever ‘Bird Walk and Business Brunch’ on Saturday, May 16. The event will start with a 1.5 hour casual walk at Scarborough Marsh, looking for and learning about the amazing birds that grace the marsh. After the walk, we’ll head to a nearby cafe for a laid back brunch, where we’ll discuss the ins and outs of operating a guide business here in Maine, ask questions, share ideas on trip planning, talk about how to engage a wider range of clients, and more. This event is free (although lunch at Cafe Luna is on participants) and open to the public, however registration is required to plan numbers for brunch. Anyone who is curious about birds, nature, and/or comparing experiences and asking questions about the guiding industry in Maine is encouraged to attend. Space it limited to 20 participants.
